Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, the bustling metropolis of Vietnam. Transfer to your accommodation and settle in. Enjoy an orientation session to familiarize yourself with the upcoming itinerary. Optional evening exploration of the city's vibrant streets and markets.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L, D)
Depending on the weather, we can visit Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning or afternoon. Cu Chi Tunnels, otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land” is around 70km far from Ho Chi Minh city. It takes us more than 1-hour driving through the pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies.
The highlights of this afternoon are the Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Place of the South Vietnam President in the past); the War Remnant Museum where we can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war; the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office. Before going back to our hotel, take a short time to visit the Ben Thanh Market to buy some local souvenirs and gifts. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 3: Flight to Quang Binh - OZO Park Ecotourism Area (B, L, D)
Start your day by taking a domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Quang Binh, a province known for its breathtaking natural landscapes. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the magnificent Ozo Park, where an unforgettable adventure awaits. Upon reaching Ozo Park, you will set up camp in the midst of nature's embrace. Find the perfect spot to pitch your tents and create a comfortable campsite. As the sun begins its descent, gather by the serene stream that flows through the park. Welcome the sunset with awe-inspiring views and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
Engage in a lively exchange of music and dancing, creating a vibrant and harmonious atmosphere. Share your favorite tunes and enjoy the melodies of others, fostering a sense of unity and cultural exchange among the group. To add to the delights, indulge in a scrumptious BBQ party or a gala dinner by the stream. Delight your taste buds with delectable local dishes and savor the flavors of Vietnam. The afternoon is the perfect time to relax and recharge before delving into the cultural riches that Hue has to offer.
In the afternoon, set out to explore the enchanting city of Hue at your own pace. Known for its imperial history and architectural marvels, Hue offers a wealth of attractions to discover. Immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting Dong Ba Market, the largest and oldest market in Hue. Explore the bustling stalls filled with colorful fruits, vegetables, spices, and local handicrafts. Engage with friendly vendors, taste traditional snacks, and shop for souvenirs to remember your time in Hue.
Day 7: Hue’s Riverboat & Royal Tombs – Hoi An (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, board the Dragon Boat for a leisurely cruise in the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the most ancient pagoda in Hue found in 1601 under Nguyen Hoang Emperor. Get in our car then and visit King Tu Duc’s Tomb before driving to Hoi An and have free time here. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An – Eco-Farming & Fishing – Walking Tour (B, L, D)
Start early this morning as heading off to our Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour. At Tra Que Village, get a personal insight into the farming communities to see what farmers usually do. Joining the work by preparing the land for sowing, helping to fertilize the garden using seaweed from the local river, and watering it using huge tin cans strapped to our backs.
After that, board our Hoi An boat tour for a river cruise to meet local fishermen work their craft, before enjoying a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. Lunch today is on board our boat, which is prepared using vegetables picked earlier at Tra Que Village.
In the afternoon, transfer to a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat then for a quick race and ride down a coconut palm-lined waterway. We then start our walking tour around this charming ancient town visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, Cantonese congregation. Enjoy dinner of Hoi An local specialties. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An - Danang (B, L, D)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Hoi An and travel to Da Nang, a bustling city known for its beautiful beaches and modern attractions. Upon arrival, head straight to the renowned Cham Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Cham artifacts and sculptures. Explore the museum's exhibits, learn about the ancient Cham civilization, and gain insights into the region's history and cultural heritage.
Next, make your way to the stunning Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills that rise majestically from the surrounding flatlands. Take a leisurely hike to explore the caves, pagodas, and hidden grottoes within the mountains.
