Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam - Belt & Road Orientation (D)
Xin chao! Welcome to Vietnam!
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, students and teachers will be welcomed by our local tour guide and transfer to the hotel to leave luggage.
Note: Hotel’s check in is 14.00, early check in is NOT included
After leaving luggage at hotel, we enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour of the French inspired "old quarter". We will be free for shopping in the old quarter ranges from markets through to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries.
In the evening, we will have welcome dinner & briefing on Vietnam’s role in the Belt & Road Initiative - A special talk by an expert on Vietnam’s involvement in BRI, highlighting infrastructure projects, trade, and future cooperation between Vietnam and China.

Day 2: Academic & University Exchange (B, L, D)
Breakfast will be at hotel.
After that, we visit one of the top university in Vietnam, Vietnam National University where students will engage in discussions with local students and professors of East Asian Studies Faculty on the impact of BRI in education, economy, and cultural exchange.
We then continue to another university in Hanoi called Hanoi University of Culture and have a visit to the Heritage Faculty with culture exchange with students there.
Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit to a Vietnamese corporation involved in BRI - Explore how local businesses collaborate with Chinese partners in areas such as logistics, energy, or infrastructure, with insights from company representatives (Companies name will be advised later).
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Diplomatic Engagement & Cultural Discovery (B, L, D)
Breakfast will be at hotel.
Morning: Visit to the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi - A diplomatic session where students will learn about China-Vietnam relations, ongoing projects under BRI, and opportunities for youth cooperation. (This will be confirmed later since not easy to ask for approval from embassy)
Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will visit some of the must-see sites in Hanoi with Temple of Literature, the first university dated from 11th century, Tran Quoc Pagoda which located by the West Lake.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Full-Day Trip to Ha Long (B, L, D)
Breakfast will be at hotel.
Pick up at our hotel after breakfast, we will take 180 KM to Halong Bay - The Bay of Descending Dragon, which is located in the Northeast of Vietnam. Halong Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage thanks to its universal values of landscape, geology and geomorphology, respectively in 1994 and 2000 and is one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
On arrival in Tuan Chau Pier at around noon, we will get on boat with welcome of the crew team. Lunch will be served onboard with seafood mainly while our cruise sets toward to the Islet of Rocky Dog (Hon Cho Da), Incense Burner (Hon Dinh Huong) and Fighting Cock (Hon Ga Choi). Our cruise then docks at Amazing Cave (Hang Sung Sot), can say, the most amazing cave in Halong at this stage with hundreds of splendid stalactite.
After one-hour visiting the cave, we continue cruising to Titov Island where we will have free time for swimming. Back to the cruise at around 4 PM, continue exploring further in the bay before ending the trip at 6 PM at Tuan Chau Wharf. We will find our car is waiting and take us back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Community Service - Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel and check out.
After that, we will visit Linh Quang Humanitarian Vocational Training and Nurturing Center. This charitable organization is dedicated to caring for and providing vocational training to children with disabilities. During the visit, students can engage in interactive activities, learn about the center's mission, and contribute to supporting children in need. While not directly related to China, this experience offers valuable insights into Vietnam’s social welfare efforts and provides an opportunity for cultural and humanitarian exchange.
After that, we have last-minute wandering at the Old Quarters of Hanoi before transferring to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
