<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 1: Arrival at Phnom Penh &amp; Team Welcome Dinner (D) </span></h3>
<p>On your arrival, you will be met by your local guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel in <strong>Phnom Penh</strong> town. After getting settled into the hotel, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby for a trip briefing and then head out for a team welcome dinner. Overnight in at Cardamon Hotel in Phnom Penh.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 2: Phnom Penh Sightseeing &amp; Market Shopping (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>Your adventure will kick-off in Cambodia's bustling capital, <strong>Phnom Penh</strong>. After your breakfast, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you on a tour to the most remarkable sights of Phnom Penh in a Cyclo, which is a traditional means of transportation in Phnom Penh. First, head to the <strong>Royal Palace</strong>. This palace dates back to 1866 and houses the<strong> Silver Pagoda</strong>, named for the over 5000 heavy silver tiles that cover its floors. Its name means Temple of the Emerald Buddha. In this temple, you will view a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze.</p>
<p>Have lunch at a local restaurant. We continue to visit the National Museum in the afternoon, built in traditional Khmer style. It is the world-scale home to the great collection of ancient Khmer artifacts from artistic to archaeological since the 4th century. The display is the reflection of the Kingdom's wealth. Scale the steps up this small hill to see Wat Phnom Temple, the birthplace of Phnom Penh.</p>
<p>Before the sun goes down, teachers and students will try the local cuisine at a restaurant. Then we spend our night shopping at the <strong>Toul Tom Pong Market</strong> (Russian Market) which is the city’s best place to shop for art objects, including marble carvings, ritual objects, and old Indochinese coins. Overnight in at Cardamon Hotel in Phnom Penh.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 3: Phnom Penh Sightseeing (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>In the morning, you have breakfast at the hotel. Today we pay a visit to the incredible <strong>Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum</strong> to explore Cambodia’s dark history. Next, we embark on the itinerary of visiting the <strong>Killing Fields</strong> in <strong>Choeung Ek.</strong> After learning about some of Cambodia’s tragic past it is time to put a smile back on your face and experience modern Khmer life.</p>
<p>At lunchtime, we enjoy meals at a local restaurant. The activity for the rest of the day is to shop at the Central Market, where you can get a glimpse of the bustling life of local people. Get a taste of Cambodia’s local significant food, while admiring the architecture styles of Phnom Penh's mix of Khmer &amp; Colonial.</p>
<p>After the visit, you can either be dropped back at your hotel or the night market on the riverfront. Overnight in at Cardamon Hotel in Phnom Penh.<br />

<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 4: Be a Keeper for the Day at Free The Bears (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the <strong>Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre</strong> to spend a day assisting the animal keepers at the Free The Bears sanctuary which is Cambodia’s premier zoological park and rehabilitation center. Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre is very large and houses many species of animals. Today, students are volunteers and they will work with our expert groups to rescue Sun bears and Moon bears. After reaching the center you will get the introduction and welcome.</p>
<p>Lunch arranged at Phnom Tamao. After that, we travel to the bear sanctuary and learn some basic knowledge about them. On the tour of other animals at the center, we will support keepers to feed bears. The center currently has over 120 ones.<br />
Leave center and return to Phnom Penh by the evening. We have dinner at the hotel.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 5: Drive to Siem Reap, Stop Visit Spider Village (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>This morning, we will head overland to <strong>Siem Reap</strong>. It is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. En route, stop in the town of Skuon to see their most famous specialty being sold: deep-fried tarantula, a favorite snack of many Cambodians. You may have seen this on Hamish and Andy's gap year show on TV.</p>
<p>Your lunch boxes will be delivered. After a quick stop, we continue to Siem Reap, the appealing gateway to the famous<strong> Temples of Angkor</strong>.<br />
Head to the hotel for check-in. Settle in and enjoy some time at leisure and perhaps cool down in the swimming pool. Your dinner will be served at the hotel.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 6: Angkor Wat &amp; Ta Prohm Temples, Zip Lining &amp; Night Markets (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>After your early breakfast, explore <strong>Angkor Wat</strong>. This amazing architecture was built in the early 12th century. The style of Angkor Wat is followed by the model of the temple mountain - the home of the gods. Nowadays, Angkor Wat is seen on Cambodia's national flag because the temple is the symbol of the Khmer people’s soul. From here, continue to visit <strong>Ta Prohm Temple</strong>, a photogenic and atmospheric scene with jungle surroundings.</p>
<p>In this afternoon, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, will participate in a zipline eco-canopy tour inside the UNESCO World Heritage designated Angkor Archeological Park. The zipline eco-tour experience offers a safety briefing and all equipment.<br />
Tonight, we have a food tour and for those who are interested, they can enjoy some shopping at a night market where you could purchase some gifts or souvenirs...<br />

<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 7: Half Day Cooking Class &amp; Sightseeing (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>This morning, have breakfast then you’ll have a chance to learn some of the secrets of Cambodian Cuisine at Kompheim<strong>/ Treak Village Cooking Class</strong> (Private arrangement by Beyond Unique Escapes). There will be a demonstration to introduce you to some local ingredients and techniques and you’ll also have the chance to prepare your dishes. From here, we will visit an Angkor Silk Farm to learn about how they produce Khmer silk by traditional methods.</p>
<p>After lunch, on the way back, stop to visit the War Museum. This unique museum is the only War Museum in Cambodia and offers visitors a unique and insightful view of the perils that Cambodia faced during the last 3 decades of the 20th century.<br />
Before it gets dark, return to the hotel and enjoy dinner.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 8: Tonle Sap Floating Villages, Night Markets (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>Get up early and have breakfast, you will head out to the beautiful Cambodian countryside, as you will drive to the quiet <strong>Beng Mealea</strong>, around 65 km from Siem Reap. Unspoiled for centuries, Beng Mealea recently has been made possible for tourism. Teachers and students will have the chances to climb through it.</p>
<p>After lunch, we depart on an interesting boat trip on the Tonlé Sap Lake, where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. <strong>Tonlé Sap</strong> is South East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its size varying greatly depending on the season, as it is swelling to about four times its size during the wet season. Board a local boat and visit the village of Kampong Kleang, where only a few tourists venture. Enjoy the fascinating scenery of Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake.</p>
<p>Dinner at the hotel. Tonight, those who are interested can enjoy some shopping at a night market where you could purchase some gifts or souvenirs...<br />

<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 9-10: Community Project at Treak Community Centre (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>After breakfast, we drive to Treak village where you will be assistin<strong>g Treak Community Centre</strong> with their day to day efforts to improve educational outcomes and the standard of living for the members of the community. What teachers and students will be doing during the time with Treak Community Centre is to support the teaching staff at the school, assisting with English, Mathematics, Craft, Sport classes - Assist with developing a new library system at the school.</p>
<p>Have lunchtime with other members from the projects. And continue your work in the afternoon. After your day at Treak Village, you will return to the hotel. Have dinner and spend time taking a break and perhaps cool down in the swimming pool.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 11: Complete Service with Treak Community Centre (B, L, D) </span></h3>
<p>This morning, have breakfast then complete service projects with Treak Community Centre.<br />
A lunch box or lunch at a local restaurant will be provided today. As it’s a special day, there will be a farewell ceremony in the evening and an opportunity to take numerous group photos and exchange some gifts before saying farewell one last time. Return to the hotel and relax</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 12: Siem Reap Departure (B) </span></h3>
<p>After having breakfast, take the time to say farewell to new friends. The guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for the flight. Have a nice journey!</p>

<p>In and follow by having lunch at restaurant of Angkor. <h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 3: Siem Reap - Angkor (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>This morning group cycle to visit the jungle temple of <strong>Ta Prohm</strong>, and then we explore<strong> Angkor Thom</strong>. At the Angkor Thom complex, we see the ornate entrances adorned with gods and demons, and the terraces of Elephants and the Leper King, and also see the <strong>Bayon Temple</strong> with its enigmatic smiling faces in the center of this ancient capital. In the afternoon, we cycle to <strong>Angkor Wat</strong> and experience this incredible religious edifice.<br />
Tonight we will enjoy the Italian dish.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 4: Siem Reap (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>In the morning after having breakfast will follow to the project of the member of Concert Cambodia for helping the local Cambodian family to restore their house roof, wall and wooden or bamboo floor by following to the professional carpenter to saw the wood/bamboo, nailing or replacing the thatch/palm leaves covered.<br />
It will be a packed lunch and having at the project site – a sandwich and fruits &amp; potato crisp in the packet.<br />
This evening enjoys having a buffet lunch and watching the <strong>Apsara performance</strong> to depict the Khmer mythology.<br />

<p>Travel to <strong>Phnom Penh</strong> via road number 6. On the way will visit the ancient bridge was built in the 12th century for connecting to Angkor capital and following by passing Kompong Thom is the center of Cambodia via visiting the carving village where engrave the gigantic sandstone to be the Buddha, animals, and others. While passing Skoun Village our journey will stop for a visit of where sale the deep-fried spiders, crickets, birds that local having as their appetizer. Tonight we will have dinner at the local restaurant.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 6: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>This morning you will start for the educational tours to firstly visit <strong>Tuol Sleng Museum</strong>, <strong>Royal Palace</strong> , <strong>Silver Pagoda</strong>, and then <strong>Wat Phnom</strong>. Following this, visit National Museum with its many ancient Angkor artifacts as well as visit the Killing Field and Independence Monument, and go shopping at the Central Market and the famous Russian Market.<br />

<p>After breakfast, we will adjust the bike then departing cross the river by boat and take in this relaxing 25km ride through <strong>Cham Muslim</strong> communities on quiet back roads to reach the Mekong Islands. On the islands, cycle through orchards and market gardens. Enjoy the peaceful farmland and learn about the lives of the people who live here as well as will see the weaving family.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 8: Phnom Penh - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)</span></h3>
<p>Free at leisure in the morning. Then we transfer to the airport to take our flight to <strong>Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)</strong>, Vietnam.<br />
Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide then we transfer to the hotel. Checking in and relax.<br />

<p>Departing Ho Chi Minh City this morning, travel through “Rice Basket “of Vietnam,<strong> Mekong Delta</strong> to <strong>Cai Be</strong> colorful floating market. Following this, visit local workshops including rice paste, coconut candy, pop-rice, pop-corn. Continue to travel to smaller canals and to see traditional houses made of wood, palm tree leaves, see some activities of the local farmers...</p>
<p>Lunch will be served at a local house. After lunch, enjoy walking around and having some kinds of fruits when listening to traditional music and biking on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real-life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta... The cruise will end at Vinh Long city. Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnel &amp; City tour half-day (B/L)</span></h3>
<p>This morning, travel to <strong>Cu Chi tunnels</strong>, known as "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". Drive through the pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels and see various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, numerous bomb craters. After that, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch.</p>
<p>After lunch, continue to visit the <strong>Reunification Palace</strong>, War Remnant Museum. Following this, visit <strong>Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office</strong>. In the rest of the day, visit <strong>Ben Thanh</strong> market, and then we will be back at the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.<br />

<p>This morning after breakfast, our group will celebrate Easter Sunday Mass at the local Catholic Church. After Mass, we will go for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the <strong>Mine Museum</strong> (on the road at Banteay Srei, then on the way back we will visit the War Memorial monument near the children hospital as well as our guide will explain the history during the civil war in Cambodia. On the way back to the hotel, we will visit <strong>Madam Sachiko Cookies</strong> for the boys to buy cookies. We then head back to the hotel in the evening; we will make our way to a local restaurant for our official welcome dinner. At dinner tonight, we will also be entertained by a traditional <strong>Apsara dance</strong> performance. After dinner, we can enjoy some shopping at the Old Market.<br />

<p>This morning after breakfast, we take the bus to <strong>Phnom Penh</strong>. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel and get ready for lunch. After lunch, we will explore Phnom Penh by cyclo. Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city in Indochina and still maintains much of its charm. After our cyclo ride we will head back to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for dinner.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 5: Phnom Penh (B/D)</span></h3>
<p>Today after breakfast we head off for a fascinating day of sightseeing in and around Phnom Penh. In the morning, we visit the notorious "<strong>Killing Fields</strong>" and <strong>Tuol Sleng Museum</strong>, both of which chronicle the unfortunate years under the Khmer Rouge.</p>
<p>In the afternoon, we will enjoy our time at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.<br />

<p>Today we will enjoy a boat trip on the <strong>Gulf of Thailand</strong>. The boat will stop close to the many islands which will provide us with a great opportunity for some snorkeling or a swim. When we get off the boat on one of the many pristine beaches we will have plenty of time to unwind and relax before we enjoy a BBQ seafood lunch.</p>

Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and then head out for some last-minute shopping at the<strong> Russian Market</strong> before tomorrow's journey home. Tonight we share our memories of our trip and celebrate with our Farewell Dinner.<br />

<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 01: Siem Reap - Arrival (L/D)</span></h3>
<p>Upon arrival, Siem Reap will be met and transfer to your hotel for checking in and follow by having lunch at FCC Angkor.<br />
Set off on an exploration to Angkor Wat in the afternoon, an architectural and artistic masterpiece of the mighty Khmer Empire before witnessing dusk at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup casting the temple in an orange hue.<br />
Tonight will follow by having dinner with Khmer cuisine.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 02: Siem Reap - Angkor (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>After breakfast in the hotel, will cycle to visit the jungle temple of Ta Prohm, and then we explore Angkor Thom. At the Angkor Thom complex, we see the ornate entrances adorned with gods and demons, and the terraces of Elephants and the Leper King, and also see the Bayon Temple with its enigmatic smiling faces in the center of this ancient capital. In the afternoon, we cycle to Angkor Wat and experience this incredible religious edifice. Tonight we will enjoy with the Italian dish.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 03: Siem Reap (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>In the morning after having breakfast will follow to the project of the member of Concert Cambodia for helping the local Cambodian family to restore their house roof, wall and wooden or bamboo floor by following to the professional carpenter to saw the wood/bamboo, nailing or replacing the thatch/palm leaves covered.<br />
Will be a packed lunch and having at the project site.</p>
<p>Tonight will enjoy to have a buffet lunch and enjoy watching the Apsara performance to depict the Khmer mythology.<br />

<p>After having breakfast will proceed for checking out then transfer to Phnom Penh via road number 6. On the way will visit the ancient bridge was built in 12th century for connecting to Angkor capital and following bypassing Kompong Thom is the center of Cambodia via visiting the carving village where engrave the gigantic sandstone to be the Buddha, animals and others. While passing Skoun Village our journey will stop for a visit of where sale the deep-fried spiders, crickets, birds that local having as their appetizer. Tonight will have dinner at Friends Restaurant.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 05: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)</span></h3>
<p>After breakfast at the hotel will be stated for the educational tours. You visit Tuol Sleng Museum, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and Wat Phnom. In the afternoon you will see the National Museum with its many ancient Angkor artifacts as well as visit the Killing Field and Independence Monument, and go shopping at the Central Market and the famous Russian Market.<br />

<p>After having breakfast at your hotel will adjust the bike to fit your size and put the sun lotion with wearing the comfortable clothing. Cross the river by boat and take in this relaxing 25km ride through Cham Muslim communities on quiet back roads to reach the Mekong Islands. On the islands, cycle through orchards and market gardens. Enjoy the peaceful farmland and learn about the lives of the people who live here as well as will see the weaving family.</p>

<h2><span style="color: #993300">Cambodia Student Tour Detail Itinerary</span></h2>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 1: Siem Reap arrival - Workshop of Artisan D’Angkor (L, D)</span></h3>
<p>On arrival at Siem Reap International Airport (early arrival flight is advised), teachers and students will be welcomed by our local guide and transfer to hotel to leave luggage.</p>
<p>After that, we will visit Angkor Silk Farm and Artisan D’angkor, which is established by Chantier-Ecoles, cooperated with the Provincial Office of Education, Youth and Sport to support young local children. We will also spend an hour with the workshop of Phare Cambodia circus.</p>
<p>After having dinner, we will be amazed by the Phare Cambodia Circus, a troupe of young Cambodians offering a spectacular and exciting blend of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling reflects Cambodia’s life and society. Overnight in Siem Reap.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 2: Photo Hunts and Cooking Challenge (B, L, D)</span></h3>
<p>After breakfast at the hotel, we will divide into several smaller groups for a stunning hunt throughout Siem Reap area. Start with a Tuk-tuk and under the supervision of teachers, local facilitators and guides, students will interact with local people to learn about history, religion, culture and effectively trade with locals. The activities end after having lunch with a surprise prize for the winners.</p>
<p>In the afternoon, students and teachers will get on their bikes and bike through the jungle of Angkor to the meeting point. Here, the group will be rotated and formed to find firewood to make fire and cook shrimps and squids. After cooking challenge, there will be some other fun games like tug of war, balloon breaking, mouse and cat game...</p>
<p>Tonight, we enjoy a buffet dinner with the Apsara performance depicts Khmer mythology. Overnight in Siem Reap.<br />

<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 3: Sunrise Angkor Wat &amp; Local School visiting (B, L, D)</span></h3>
<p>Get up early in the morning to visit Angkor Wat – the most stunning temple in the complex at sunrise then return to the hotel for a proper breakfast.<br />
After that, we continue our visit to the awe-inspiring Angkor Thom or the Great City. At the southern gate, we will marvel at the imposing 23-meter high stone faces of Avalokiteshvara, which featured in the Tomb Raider movie. Will be ending the morning via exploring the jungle temple Ta Prohm.</p>
<p>In the afternoon, we enjoy with making leather carving at the workshop of Little Angel. We then head to a village school and have some culture exchange and fun games with the local students such as: singing and dancing, postcard-drawing ceremony…After dinner, we will have a fun time shopping at the Night Market.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #808000">Day 4: Floating village - Shopping at Old Market (B, L, D)</span></h3>
<p>In the morning, we will move in tune with the rhythm of the great annual flood of Tonle Sap Lake where we take a boat ride to the floating village of Kompong Phuluk and see the local house-on-stilts. Explore this great ecosystem by canoeing and hear the calls of the macaque monkeys while observing the forest beneath the lake’s surface. We will also see the Buddhist temple is standing on the island with some beautiful Buddhist life painting on the ceiling.<br />
Return to the city center for lunch, after lunch, we visit the Old Market before relaxing in a traditional foot massage with various kinds of herbs. Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.<br />
